Waste System Overhaul

I’m pleased with the news that the government is planning on overhauling the waste system in the UK. The plan is to send consultations to overhaul the waste system, cut plastic pollution, and move towards a more circular economy.

Association of Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities

I was happy to sponsor and lead a delegation of the Association of Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities to Westminster. The team do fantastic work in assisting and promoting the conservation of our inshore fisheries around the UK.

Tri-Service

It was a privilege to attend the Passing out ceremony of the next 8 Tri-Service Safety Officers at the Cornwall Operational Police Headquarters in Bodmin last week.

Scott was out in the constituency yesterday visiting Cornwall Broadband to hear about the service that they are providing for North Cornwall.

Cornwall Broadband is based in Bude and is able to provide fast broadband coverage in remote locations where BT's superfast hasn't yet reached.
