Over the last few days, my team and I have been dealing with a very large caseload ranging from residents being stuck in far-flung parts of the world to businesses seeking clarification of the measures that our Chancellor has announced.



A full range of business support measures have been made available to UK businesses and employees.

STATEMENT - Now is the time to stay home and save lives

I have held many conversations with the Tourism Minister, local government officials and stakeholders in the constituency. We hoped that government guidance on non-essential travel would be adhered to, but it is obvious many people are visiting Cornwall despite this advice.

I recognise the impact this will have on Flybe’s passengers and staff – and express deep sympathy for all those affected.

Forces awarded extra funding for Taser

Thousands more police officers will be equipped with Taser under a Home Office-funded uplift.

Forces in England and Wales will receive £6.7 million to purchase 8,155 devices, the Home Office has announced. Devon & Cornwall's share will be 164 Taser, (£135,300).

Stratton Community Treatment Centre to re-open

A promise to bring back a pioneering overnight service at Stratton's Community Treatment Centre will be fulfilled, thanks to the efforts of dedicated health workers and support from the community.
