Wadebridge Sports and Leisure Centre (operated by FOWLC CIC) have been confirmed as one of three community operators to benefit from the Swimming Pool Support Fund in #Cornwall.
We discussed rail and bus networking and they briefed me on their latest report. The #Okehampton line was a fantastic first step in bringing mainline rail back to #NorthCornwall. Now we have to deliver that connectivity closer.

I finished the Parliamentary recess with a visit to the villages up by the source of the River Tamar. It was good to meet people in Wooley, Whitstone, Yeolmbridge and Treburley and hear their views.
This week I spent a lot of time in Bodmin, and I was very pleased to find a great deal of support for the Chancellor’s recent tax cuts and our strong immigration reforms.
This weekend was Easter, and we reflect on Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. Despite the poor weather spring is here and it is great to see the flowers coming out and the trees in bloom. I hope everyone in North Cornwall had a very Happy Easter with your friends and family.
